Merchandiser - Knit Garments

We are looking for a Merchandiser – Knit Garments to manage and coordinate the merchandising process from order confirmation through shipment. The role will involve buyer communication, order follow-up, costing, sampling, production coordination, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining required quality standards.

Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering.

Experience

- 8 to 10 years

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Requirements

Age 30 to 35 years

Currently or recently working in a garment factory.
Full understanding of the entire production process from start to finish .
10+ years of experience as a Merchandiser Business-level .
Good knowledge in price quotation and product development.
Strong & Adequate working knowledge of sourcing.
Sound knowledge on production (pattern, consumption and wash etc.
Having excellent product knowledge with capacity of handling more demanding and globally renowned customers.

Responsibilities & Context

To be responsible for monitoring and sourcing complete sample, lab dips, accessories, trims from home & abroad and communicate with various suppliers to get the current price/ strike off / Hand loom.
To prepare purchase orders, internal order & costing sheets.
Candidate need to coordinate with marketing, design, supply chain, production & store department of the company.
To mediate production and quality department and work closely with QA to ensure best final product & take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production.
Co-ordinates with production team in order to deliver on time shipment.
Ensure minimum lead time to production & execute the maximum profit from all merchandise.
